elcome to the second issue of THE WORKS, the Quadralay Newsletter. Thanks to everyone who followed up on the announcement of the 9.2.2 release in last month's newsletter and took the time to send us such great feedback on the release and the supporting materials in our new eLearning area. If you haven't yet tried or upgraded to the newest version of the ePublisher Platform you can download it here or check out the online videos here.

This month is a special month for us at Quadralay, with not one but two major announcements as part of our ongoing drive to increase customer communications and feedback.

In March we will be hosting a series of Webinars to introduce you to the latest developments at Quadralay concerning our support for authoring and the popular Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) initiative. Check out the information below for schedule dates and times plus a link to register for this special series. Be sure to sign up early as space is limited.

We are also delighted to announce the dates and location for the first WebWorks Conference. Please come and join us at the Stephen F. Austin hotel right in the heart of downtown Austin from November 4 to 6, 2007, for WebWorks RoundUp 2007. You can find out more details below and remember to register your interest so you can receive regular updates on conference activities, schedules and registration deadlines.

DITA Webinars

As part of our continuing commitment to customer feedback we would also welcome your comments and observations so we can be assured of building a solution that best meets your needs.

We are pleased to announce a special series of Webinars taking place throughout March. Please join us to find out how Quadralay will be addressing the needs of customers who are migrating to XML and DITA. During the sessions you will get an exclusive early look at the Beta version of the DITA solution currently in development.

Date and Location for WebWorks RoundUp 2007 Finalized

Remember, Remember the 5th of November.

The announcement in last month's issue of "The Works" about a WebWorks Conference generated a lot of feedback and buzz in the user community, so we are delighted to announce this month we have finalized a date and location for

WebWorks RoundUp 2007

Mark your calendars for Monday, November 5, and Tuesday, November 6, and join us at the Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin right in downtown Austin, Texas, for two days of networking, product knowledge and some of the good old-fashioned fun that can be found in the Live Music Capital of the World. To kick off the event Quadralay will be hosting a reception on the evening of Sunday, November 4, so make sure to get in to town a little early and join us.

The conference will feature keynote sessions, a WebWorks Round Table event and two tracks, one devoted to User Case Studies, and a second covering ePublisher and WebWorks-specific topics.

We are also offering special discount pricing for people who book early.

• Spring Pricing - Book between NOW and May 30, 2007, and pay only $695
• Summer Pricing - Book between June 1, 2007, and August 31, 2007, and pay $795.

At the launch ComponentSource announced the winners of the first annual awards for 2006, and Quadralay was delighted to be a recipient of a Top 100 ComponentSource Bestselling Publisher Award.

On April 5, Alan Porter from Quadralay will be the featured speaker at the Society of Technical Communication (STC) Austin Chapter meeting. He will be presenting on "Making Sense of Standards."
