elcome to the second issue of THE WORKS, the Quadralay Newsletter. Thanks to everyone who followed up on the announcement of the 9.2.2 release in last month's newsletter and took the time to send us such great feedback on the release and the supporting materials in our new eLearning area. If you haven't yet tried or upgraded to the newest version of the ePublisher Platform you can download it here or check out the online videos here.
This month is a special month for us at Quadralay, with not one but two major announcements as part of our ongoing drive to increase customer communications and feedback.
In March we will be hosting a series of Webinars to introduce you to the latest developments at Quadralay concerning our support for authoring and the popular Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) initiative. Check out the information below for schedule dates and times plus a link to register for this special series. Be sure to sign up early as space is limited.
We are also delighted to announce the dates and location for the first WebWorks Conference. Please come and join us at the Stephen F. Austin hotel right in the heart of downtown Austin from November 4 to 6, 2007, for WebWorks RoundUp 2007. You can find out more details below and remember to register your interest so you can receive regular updates on conference activities, schedules and registration deadlines.

Mark your calendars for Monday, November 5, and Tuesday, November 6, and join us at the Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin right in downtown Austin, Texas, for two days of networking, product knowledge and some of the good old-fashioned fun that can be found in the Live Music Capital of the World. To kick off the event Quadralay will be hosting a reception on the evening of Sunday, November 4, so make sure to get in to town a little early and join us. |
The conference will feature keynote sessions, a WebWorks Round Table event and two tracks, one devoted to User Case Studies, and a second covering ePublisher and WebWorks-specific topics.

Society of Technical Communication (STC) Houston Chapter meeting. He will be
presenting on "Eliminating END GAME From The Creation of Electronic
Deliverables." The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Select in Houston

On April 5, Alan Porter from Quadralay will be the featured speaker at the Society of Technical Communication (STC) Austin Chapter meeting. He will be presenting on "Making Sense of Standards." The meeting will be held at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus of the University of Texas in Austin starting at 7:00 p.m.
