Session Description

WebWorks Help represents a platform unto itself. More than just a simple output format, WebWorks Help encompasses content as well as a self-contained, cross-platform, cross-browser help run-time. This session details the overall design of WebWorks Help and demonstrates how users may leverage WebWorks Help classes to extend the base run-time.

About the Speaker

Today, Ben Allums is the Director of Engineering at Quadralay Corporation. In 2000, he was just another Quadralay developer who saw the task, Recreate Microsoft HTML Help in a browser and thought, "Well, it can't be THAT hard." While WebWorks Help has grown quite a bit since those days, Ben still keeps in touch with the technology that he help create.
