The Output Explorer
The Output Explorer allows you to view your generated output files. Whenever you generate output, the generated output files will be listed in the Output Explorer. The output files that display in the Output Explorer depends whether you have the source document or top-level group selected in the Document Manager. If you have the top-level group selected, then the Output Explorer will display the entry-point file; if you have a source document selected, the Output Explorer will display the individual topic pages.

Within the Output Explorer, the Navigation group contains either your entry-point file or generated table of contents and index files depending on what active target you have selected in your project; see Figure 3-5 and .Figure 3-6. The Files folder contains all of the generated topic files, the Images folder contains all of the generated images for your online output, and the Reports folder contains your conformance reports.
