Updating your Stationery can be tricky, so we recommend that you follow the steps we have outlined to properly maintain your Stationery files.
The following lists our recommended best practices:

Keep your Stationery Master (Pro project) under version control, so that you can monitor how it changes over time. |

Create a sub-folder in your Stationery Master (Pro project) and place a sample source document within it that is used for testing and comparing the output with modifications to your source styles or modifications to your ePublisher styles. |
You should never open a Stationery directly in ePublisher Pro and make modifications to the file. To ensure that your Stationery gets updated properly, you should always open the Pro project file on which the Stationery was based, make the desired changes, and then save a new copy of the Stationery file. The new Stationery file will replace your existing Stationery file.
The following steps outline our recommended method of updating your Stationery file:

You do not have to replace the existing Stationery, you can also create a new Stationery with a different name, possibly some sort of version identifier. |
